Are you a chemical engineer in the petroleum fuel industry and would like to use your expertise for God's Kingdom and VCJF multiplication? At Clean Soul Clean City, you can do just that and help clean up the environment along the way!
Required Skills
Waste is a problem all over the world, it is especially felt in countries where many of the least reached live. We are harnessing all kinds of waste to empower sustainable establishment of VCJFs, environment and community transformation among the least reached. Your main focus will be on the production of hydrocarbon fuels from plastic waste (and soon biomass) via pyrolysis. Currently, we have several projects ‘on the boil' including a pyrolysis fuel production from waste plastics. One of the key goals is to upgrade this fuel into higher value products such as diesel. We also want to move forward in thermochemical processing of woody biomass waste into valuable products. Your expertise will greatly accelerate these projects reaching full production. You'll also become part of a team that has a huge vision for VCJF's, locally sourced missions financing, workplace discipleship and community engagement. Please note: Initially this is a non-salary position requiring you to raise you own support. However, we are praying the right key people to become part of the long-term core-team. In which case, it may be possible to be self-funded from income generated from this project.

* The jobs listed on this website do not have a set salary. This means that the person who applies will need to raise their own support, which is money that they will use to live on. The amount of support money they need to raise will depend on things like where they are from, if they have a family, and what country they will be working in. There might be some jobs that pay salary, but these are rare and would need to be negotiated with the sending offices and the teams you'd like to serve with. If you have any questions about this, please contact your local home office. Always keep in mind that our ministry depends on generous giving from our partners around the globe and God's ongoing provision. Joining OM is always seen as a step of faith and trust in a God who will provide for our needs through his chosen people.
