MediaWorks

Media Creation

How can we create media for specific people groups to match their culture and resonate with their heart?

Once needs have been researched, MediaWorks supports ministries with creating resources that help to share the gospel and strengthen believers, especially among least reached people groups.

We design apps, books, booklets, flyers, leaflets, logos and websites. We are also developing in the areas of animation, video editing, storytelling and features for social media campaigns. Where appropriate, media can be translated into further languages by local partners and then adapted to fit different cultures. A wide network of partners are also willing to collaborate.

Animation

In partnership with OM in the UK, MediaWorks developed the concept and 3D visuals for The Virtual Reality Headset Experience.

Storytelling

The story of “The Yellow Flamingo” was written in response to a need for contextualised content that helps ministries share the Christmas message in a creative way. It can be used and adapted to develop print or digital Christian media for specific audiences.

Illustration and animation

MediaWorks was asked to create an animation of a story that a ministry team usually shares verbally. The analogy demonstrates how good deeds are not enough to earn peace with God. The English, Russian and Turkish versions are available on MediaWorks’ digital library.

MediaWorks partners experience that the My First Bible is an accessible way to introduce Scripture to those who have never heard about Jesus. It bridges the gap until a complete Bible becomes available in the local language. The design is adapted to fit the local culture.

Animation

60 1-minute videos summarising books of the Bible. Working in partnership with OM in Belgium, MediaWorks animator Nicky is coordinating a team of volunteer artists to provide illustrations in different art styles, generating AI artwork, and creating the animations. The original episodes are being released in English and can be translated into other languages.

Graphic Design

Written in six languages, the card asks, “Are you looking for hope?” In answer, it provides links to websites that offer Christian resources in the Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Kurdi, Pashto and Urdu languages.

MediaWorks Digital Libary

There are currently over 200 eBooks and resources in MediaWorks' digital library with 38 different languages respresented.

"My motivation to produce Christian media is Jesus' commission to go and make disciples of all nations and the ultimate goal that one day there will be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before God's throne and worshiping our God!"

Trusting in God's creative plan

Despite changing plans and various challenges, Nicky is using his skills in graphic design and animation to help build the global Church.

Speaking in their language, designing for their culture

Margret moved to the Himalayas with the promise she would help print God’s Word for the minority people group there. Today, she designs media that shares the gospel and strengthens believers in the region and beyond.

God's Kingdom come, God's will be done

When Simon joined OM as a graphic designer, he learnt an important life lesson which changed his focus and continues to motivate him to this day.

The Designer and the designed

Erin discovers how God has shaped her passion for creating and her organisational skills into tools that can be used for His kingdom.

Thousands of peoples and communities with their own cultures and languages have never heard about Jesus, ever. Our passion is that they would hear of His fame and renown.” – OM, Our Story
